    Since 4 weeks es_db_purge does not work anymore, i haven't changed anything on the server.

    2010-09-06 06:00:00
    ERROR: The specified EventSentry action does not contain enough information to connect to the database. Please make sure that this database target contains at least a connection string or system DSN
    ERROR: Unable to connect to database

    The system DNS "Eventsentry" does exist.

    Command i use is

    "C:\Program Files\EventSentry\Database Wizards\es_db_purge" Eventsentry EventLog,Performance 30d root secret /count /shrinkdb /shrinklog /log:d:\Opschonen_Eventsentry.txt

    This is a known problem that was introduced with the latest patch. We plan on releasing a patch tomorrow that will address this issue. If you would like updated files sooner, then please email our support team, and we can send you a link to a temporary fix.

    Our apologies. There was an error during the patch creation, which did not update the database setup wizard files accordingly. We will be releasing an updated patch shortly.

    I just wanted to let everyone know that we have published another patch, build 2.91.0.96, that should address the issues many have been experiencing with the es_db_purge.exe utility.

    Please apply this patch and let us know if any issues remain. Despite the higher build number, it is not necessary to upgrade agents with build 95. This patch only updates the command-line database utilities.
