When I try to view the "Service History" page fromthe web interface I select which server, click Search and this is what is displayed, doesn't matter which server I select.
ADODB.Recordset
error '800a0cc1'
Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal.
/EventSentry/eventsentry_service_history.asp, line 719
Here is the line from the file it is referring to
If DBRS.Fields("Startup").value <> DBRS.Fields("Startup_New").value Then
Any ideas how this should be resolved?
Hi Michael,
Which version and build of EventSentry do you have installed in your environment?
Have you recently done an upgrade?
Has this worked previously?
I would suggest that you run the 'Database Setup Wizard' which can be found in the EventSentry Management Console by selecting "Tools -> Utilities -> Database Setup Wizard" to see if this helps to resolve this issue.
We are trialing EventSentry 2.92 build 11.
We have not upgraded.
Still trying it out in consideration to purchase.
Will running the 'Database Setup Wizard' overwrite any data?
Hi Michael,
No, the Database Setup Wizard will not overwrite any data in your database. The wizard is used to make sure the database is setup properly, it will add any tables/columns or permissions that are missing within the database. Your data will remain perfectly safe.
I completed running the Database Setup Wizard and it said "No tables needed to be created."
Any other possibilities?
You should definitely not have those issues, especially with a new install. Are you having any other issues with the web-based reporting, e.g. are all the other pages working correctly? I'd be curious to know if it's just the service history that is not working correctly.
Also, which database type are you using? We will probably have to check the database itself to ensure that certain columns exist.
No other similar issues(I do have two unassigned computers, one is a '-' the other is invisible).
All other pages display correctly.
Service Status and Service Availability both display correctly.
We are using an SQL Server 2008 R2.
