I have been getting this for while and can't figure out why? I have searched through the help file and the knowledge base but didn't fin anything helpful. I have stopped getting any other email notifications to my Blackberry. (even though they go to my Gmail)

MESSAGE Action "Desktop" was unable to create a mailslot for host "." due to error: The system cannot find the file specified.
You are getting error because you are using the "Desktop" action, which displays a window on the desktop, however the management console (which displays the window) is not active. This error message is not related to email connectivity errors, a different error would be raised in that case.
Are you have email issues as well? If EventSentry can't send emails, it will log a similar event in the application event log.
Are you using the Desktop action?
As of 10/2 Event ID 580 has occurred 7 times. I am using the "Desktop" action. When I click on the "test" button I get a pop up message saying its working correctly. But I'm still puzzled as to why I'm getting the error message or how to fix...
Yes I have the management console on the system where I'm getting the 580 errors. I have found they seem to happen after a reboot...
