try installation on Server 2008 x64 doesnt work

    Hello

    i try the installation from eventsentry light on Server 2008 R2 sp1 x64 The installation is working till the services want to start and then i get error 1920 services can not start.
    One Server 2003 it is working

    I lwas logging in with the localadminaccount and i gave the Services my credentials with dommaine\adminisaccount +passwort but i doesnt work.

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for your interest in EventSentry Light.

    When you get the 1920 error message, does it say which service account this is for? You can change the USERNAME & PASSWORD for the service accounts & then retry the install. To do this, open SERVICES.MSC and right click the service and select properties, and then go to the LOGON tab. There you'll be able to change the account and try to start the service.

    I would also check the registry to make sure that the USERNAME you're using has permissions to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\netikus.net\EventSentry key
