I am trying to migrate a current eventsentry to a new server. I backed up the .reg file and installed it on the new server. I started the install and everything is normal till I hit the install button. As I hit the install button it starts the install bar does a few things and kicks me out to the finish screen with the following error.
"The wizard was interrupted before EventSentry could be completly installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again"
I tried running setup again multiple times after rebooting the server no avail... please help
I would try to run the setup first, and then import the configuration (.reg file) through the management console's File->Import feature.
Since you already imported the configuration, you would need to remove it from the registry again (HKLM\Software\netikus.net\EventSentry).
