The srvsec.exe utility in SysAdminTools does not work for @

edited March 2016 in General
Trying to use srvsec.exe to change service passwords on MANY servers, and discovered that although the \ format works, the @ format does not. It cannot query for @, although if you do a FULL query via srvsec.exe it will return services with @ format. Any ideas ? I'm guessing that format was not provided for ?

  • Hi Jeff,

You are correct, the current version of srvsec.exe does not support user names in the user@domain format, but this is something we have fixed and we'll have an update available soon.

I believe our support team already sent you an updated version, please let me know if that is not the case.
